Field Notes Chicago Edition 3-Pack, 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Field Notes celebrates the home of our Midwest HQ with the new Chicago Edition. Separate from our Quarterly Editions, itâs just a little something we whipped up to keep ourselves busy and warm as our temperature drops below zero.
The cover is our standard French Paper Co. Kraft-Tone 100#C âStandard White Kraft,â featuring Chicagoâs sky blue and red flag (ranked by vexillologists as Americaâs second-best municipal flag!). Inside, youâll find Chicago-centric Practical Applications, and our standard Domtar Lynx 60#T âBright Whiteâ graph paper.
To paraphrase Nelson Algren, Chicago may not always love you back, but your Chicago Field Notes will always be there for you. Thereâs no better place to keep track of Italian beef joints, Blackhawks point streaks, neighborhood bars, Mayoral election calendars, and parking dibs.
- Proudly printed by the good people of The Graphic Arts Studio, LLC, Barrington, Ill.
- Cover: French Kraft-Tone 100#C âStandard White Kraft,â with a brute-force coat of Black, âHaymarket Red,â and âNorth Branch Blueâ soy-based Superior inks.
- Innards: Domtar Lynx Opaque Ultra 60#T âWhite,â with a fine, 1-color application of âLake Michigan Mistâ soy-based Superior ink.
- Cover and innards printed on a Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102S six-color offset printing press.
- Bound with a Muller Martini 6-pocket saddle stitcher with cover feeder/scorer, with appreciation to Samuel Slocum, George W. McGill, and William J. BrownÂ, the âFounding Fathers of the Staple.â
- Corners precisely rounded to a 3/8" (9.5mm) radius with a Challenge DCM double round-corner machine.
- Graph grid: 3/16" Ă 3/16" (4.7mm x 4.7mm). 48 Pages.
