Hobonichi Techo Weeks - Unsodo Bijutsukai (Blue Pigeons) (April Start)

This techo cover features artwork from the Bijutsukai and Shin-Bijutsukai craft design books published during the Meiji period (1868–1912). The grid design, target design, and two pigeons facing each other have a retro motif, but the ivory white background and mix of red, blue, and green colors give it a modern look. The back cover features a fantastical design that looks like a river covered in cherry blossom petals, or the Milky Way in the night sky. The cover has been constructed as a light hardcover book with some give to it so it still bends.
